One of the most Heartfelt Leaders you'll ever find

I recently had the wonderful opportunity to meet with Colleen Barrett, President Emeritus of Southwest Airlines. I have to admit, I had been wanting to meet Colleen Barrett for a long time, for many reasons: (1) Because I am a big fan of Southwest Airlines, (2) Because one of my personal missions in life is to help accelerate advancement for women into senior leadership and celebrate the great role models who have made it to the top and make the rest of us proud, and (3) because Mark and I spend every waking moment trying to find truly inspiring Heartfelt Leaders who are willing to share their insights and secrets of success with you!

Meeting with Colleen recently at her office in Dallas, Texas was truly one of the highlights of my life. She is an absolute joy to be around...she quickly made me feel as though we were best friends and confidants who had known each other for ever.  I can earnestly say, I've known many successful leaders in my day, but I don't think I've ever had the privilege of meeting one who is more genuine, open, authentic, humble, down to earth, generous and readily open to share the LUV, as Colleen. It was almost a religious experience for me...almost like meeting Mother Teresa!

I could go on and on, but instead, I'll just encourage you to get a glimpse of my conversation with her in our Be Inspired section. Enjoy, and let me know what you think....
